 LEON-MARIE-JOSEPH-GUY-HENRI, Count d'HORRER, commonly called Guy, is the fifth child and third son of Léon d'Horrer, who precedes. Despite this, his older brothers having had no male offspring, he became the head of the family.  Born posthumously at the castle of Brignat (Domérat, Allier), on April 29, 1916, he studied in Bordeaux then enlisted in the 2nd regiment of Algerian Spahis.

Papa officierIn May 1940, a second lieutenant in the 27th GDI, he was taken prisoner at Saint-Omer (North of France) while defending Dunkirk, and spent the rest of the war in an a German prison camp for captured enemy officers (OFLAG) in northern Germany, near Lünebourg. He was appointed captain in 1950. He was an executive assistant in the company Nitrolac. He died on October 21, 1988 in the manor of Pinchat, in Vouvray (Indre-et-Loire) and was buried in Chantilly, in the cemetery of the Forest, where are also his wife, his mother and his brother Olivier.

Helene d horrer 1He had married, on 15 September 1951 in La Chapelle-sur-Furieuse (Departement of Jura), Hélène de RAEMY (1), of Swiss nationality, born in Cairo (Egypt) on November 8, 1923, daughter of Bernard de Raemy, engineer, and Simone de Lessan. She died on September 16, 1999 in Chantilly (Oise) and was buried at the cemetery of the Forest.

They had four children. All of them also have Swiss nationality, as well as their spouses and descendants.

ChantalHe married in Paris, at the church of Saint-Sulpice, Chantal Cortyl or Cortyl de Wytshove (2), born on April 28, 1954, doctor of pharmacy, daughter of Eugène Cortyl and Jacqueline Lacau. They live in Arradon, in Britanny, and have three children:

 

 

1.1. CHRISTINE d'HORRER, born in Gouvieux (Department of Oise) on February 16, 1982, bank employee, married on May 23, 2009 to Dante SIMON-HOSE, painter, and divorced in 2024.  They have two sons:
     1.1.a. Kéo Simon-Hose,  born on May 27, 2010 in Saint-Herblin (Department of Loire-Atlantique).
     11.1.b. Merri Simon-Hose, born en October 10,  in Nantes (same department).

                  1.2. BEATRICE d'HORRER, born in Chambray-Lès-Tours (Department of Indre-et-Loire) on April 25, 1983, works at the pony club "Les Sabots Verts", and lives in Theix-Noyalo (South Britanny). She married Olivier LESGUER.

               1.3. The Count FRANCOIS-XAVIER, LEON, MARIE-JOSEPH d'HORRER, born in Vannes (South Britanny) on November 26, 1986, is a marketing manager at Digital International (group Manitou). He married on April 28, 2012 ESTELLE ROGER, a lay person on a diocesan mission and lives in Saint-Germain-sur-Moine (Maine-et-Loir). They have four children:
     3a. Alix d'Horrer,  born on August 14, 2013 in Nantes.
     3b. Sixtine d'Horrer, born on December 13, 2015 in Nantes.      

      3c. Arsène d'Horrer,  born on July 17, 2017, in Saint-Herblain.
     3d. Albane d'Horrer,  born on April 12, 2021, in Saint-Herblain.

 The Count YVES-OLIVIER-MARIE-JOSEPH d'HORRER,  born on January 12, 1954 in Paris, a graduate in international trade and a licentiate in theology, was an Italian translator, specializing in works of mystics or theology. He lives in the province of Perche in Condé-sur-Huisne (Orne) and has remained single.

         1a. Marine Auber, born on July 8, 2020.

  4. CLEMENCE BRULEY DES VARANNES, born in Versailles (Yvelines) on May 19, 1993, charged with recruitment, married in September 2023 to Guillaume Maître, lawyer.
         4a. Louis Maître, born on May 22, 2022.       
        4b. Victor Maître, born in Boulogne in 2024 

  5. CAMILLE BRULEY DES VARANNES, born in Versailles (Yvelines), on January 17, 1996, sales hostess, is single.

 

Thierry2 The Count THIERRY-GUY-MARIE-JOSEPH d'HORRER, born on February 1, 1960, in Chantilly (Oise), holds a master’s degree in law and was a director at JLL in industrial and office real estate. He lives alternately in Paris and Buzançais (Indre).

1/   de Raemy, in Switzerland, canton of Fribourg: patrician family received in Fribourg in 1517, at the Council of Two Hundred in 1525, at the Council of Sixty in 1555, at the Little Council in 1607. Like all the other patrician families of Fribourg, they have the nobiliary particle under the decree of the Grand Council of 17.7.1782.

2/ Cortyl, or Cortyl de Wytshove, Flanders, Belgium. Family ennobled on 16.12.1654 by the Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand IV.

3/ Bruley des Varannes : Touraine, originally from Champagne. Treasurer of France at the finance office in Tours for two generations. Chaix d'Est-Ange mentions this family in his Annuaire de la noblesse de France (1986).
