Russian lineage---French lineage---Italian lineage
The Knight, then Count MARIE-JOSEPH d'HORRER, and his wife, Wilhelmine de RACHETTE had 9 children and are at the origin of the three lineages of the d'Horrer family, Russian, French, and Italian, of which the first two are still existing today.
1° MARIE-SOPHIE-HENRIETTE d'HORRER, born on February 2, 1807, died in San Carlos, province of Santa Fé (Argentina) on April 19, 1861, had married Jean-Baptiste-Léon, Count of TESSIERES de BOISBERTRAND (1), born in Paris and then residing at Collonge-Bellerive, near Geneva. He was the son of Etienne de Tessières de Boisbertrand, deputy of Vienne under the Restoration. They went into exile in Argentina, to San Carlos, following political persecution during the reign of Napoleon III. The family acquired land in a depopulated place and founded there, at the beginning of 1858, the colony of San Carlos in Cayasta. They had at least:
- MARIE-FRANCOIS-EDMOND, Count of TESSIERES DE BOISBERTRAND, chief of his family and last of his lineage, born on December 15, 1835, and assassinated in 1878 in Argentina (read the account of the assassination) ; I hold an exchange of letters between Wladimir d'Horrer (Russian lineage) and his first cousin (French lineage) Arsène d'Horrer about their nephew’s inheritance, which would also benefit the Russian descent of Philippe d'Horrer.
2° PHILIPPE-MARIE-MICHEL-AUGUSTE, Count d'HORRER, founder of of the Russian lineage, which follows.
3° The Count MARIE-JOSEPH-FRANCOIS-XAVIER d'HORRER, founder of the lineage established, first in Italy, then in France, which will follow further.
4° The Count MARIE-LOUIS-ALEXANDRE d'HORRER, founder of the now extincted Italian lineage, which will follow later.
5°The Knight MARIE-JOSEPH-FRANCOIS-CONSTANTIN d'HORRER, born in Saint Petersburg on September 11, 1818. It is said on his baptism certificate that he was the son of 'Marie-Joseph d'Horrer, lieutenant-colonel in the cavalry of the king of the French'. He died aged 8 in Bulle (canton of Fribourg, Switzerland), on December 8, 1826, before his father received the title of count. He was buried on December 11 in Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens parish of this city.
6° MARIE-JOSEPHINE-ANTOINETTE-ERNESTINE d'HORRER, born in Coburg (Saxony) on January 22, 1821, had as godfather His Excellency the Duke Ernest of Saxony, Sovereign Prince of Coburg, and as godmother Her Royal Highness Antoinette, Duchess of Württemberg, Princess of Saxon-Coburg. Single, she died in Paris on May 31, 1849 of cholera, aged 28, shortly after her father, with whom she lived.
7° The Knight MARIE-JOSEPH-FRANCOIS-VLADIMIR, born in Lausanne (Switzerland), on November 11, 1822. Died before his father received the title of count, he is qualified as a "knight" in his death certificate. He indeed died at the age of 11 in Turin (Italy), on February 13, 1834 and was buried the next day at the Annunciation parish.
8° MARIE-ANNE-JOSEPHINE-EMILIE d'HORRER, born in à Fribourg (Switzerland) on December 8, 1824 (Doc-15 : baptism certificate) had as godfather Jean-François d'Olry, an intimate advisor to His Majesty the King of Bavaria, and as godmother the Countess of Diesbach de Belleroche.
